French initiatives on SALW during the 71st UNGA (1st Committee) [fr]
France has taken several initiatives on the illicit trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) during the First Committee of the 71st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The initiatives complement the resolutions presented during the First Committee on an annual basis, and that are adopted by consensus.
