Intervention of Ms Robles on chemical weapons abolition [fr]

On the 26th of July 2016, the Geneva Environment Network organised a discussion on chemical weapons abolition at the International Environmental House.

The speakers were Paul Walker, Director, Environmental Security and Sustainability programme from Green Cross International, who talked about the evolution of the chemical disarmament, and Muralee Thummarukudy, Senior Programme Officer, Post-Conflict and Disasters Management Branch from UNEP, who presented the destruction of the Syrian chemical weapons.

Ms Marie-Gaëlle Robles, counsellor to the permanent representation of France to the Conference on Disarmament, intervened at end of the debate to bring closing remarks to the discussion.
