Treaty establishing a nuclear-weapon-free zone in Central Asia: signature of the protocol in New York (6 May 2014) [fr]

The P5 member states, in the presence of the 5 states pf Central Asia, signed, in the margin of the 3rd Preparatory Committee to the NPT, on the 6th of May, 2014, in New York the protocol to the Treaty establishing a nuclear-weapon-free zone inCentral Asia.

With this signature, the 5 nuclear-weapon states are committed not to use, neither threaten to use, nuclear weapons against the 5 States of Central Asia.

Mr Jean-Hugues Simon-Michel, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of France to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva, signed the document on behalf of France.
