The War College visits the French mission (19 June 2017)

On 19 June, 2017, the French mission hosted a delegation from the War College in Paris in order to discuss the specificities of diplomacy in the field of disarmament.

The 15 trainees will all be assigned to international relations positions within the Ministry of defence, in the near or mid-term.

The delegation met with Ambassador Alice Guitton and was then briefed on the disarmament agenda by the whole team of the mission. It exchanged views with a few ambassadors from the Conference on Disarmament and stakeholders from the Civil Society (ICRC, OCHA, Small Arms Survey, DCAF). The delegation also met with the Geneva-based defence attachés.
